A.E. Bioecology Ltd. is Israel’s leading company for the recycling of animal by-products and carcasses. We operate a state-of-the-art national facility and provide comprehensive nationwide services.

For over 20 years, we have been offering collection, recycling, and ecological treatment services to dairy farms, livestock ranches, sheep farms, meat processing plants, and butcher shops across the country—while adhering to the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility, and customer service.

Our company began by providing carcass incineration services. However, in 2018, we made a significant leap forward through a strategic partnership with LIPITALIA, one of Europe’s leading companies in the field of animal by-product recycling. This collaboration led to the establishment of an innovative rendering facility at Kibbutz Ein Hamifratz, operating 24 hours a day, six days a week.

The facility is capable of processing all the animal by-products and carcasses generated by Israel’s livestock sector, transforming them into two main products:

Meat and bone meal exported to markets in Asia
Fat for biodiesel production, sold to European markets

Through our rendering process, we significantly reduce the need for landfill disposal or illegal dumping in open areas—thus protecting both public health and the environment.

Our fleet of trucks operates daily, collecting carcasses and waste from all over the country.

Among our clients are: the Israeli Dairy Board, Natural Disaster Insurance Fund, regional and local councils, meat processing plants, butcher shops, and leading slaughterhouses throughout Israel.

A.E Bioecology Ltd. is a company operating a nationwide facility for recycling animal waste and remains.

For over 20 years, the company has been providing removal and recycling services for animal remains to dairy farms and pastures across the country.

In its early days, the company primarily focused on incinerating animal byproducts. In 2018, the company took a significant step forward by partnering with LIPITALY, a leading European recycling company. Together with Kibbutz Ein Hamifratz, they established an innovative and advanced recycling facility, operating 24 hours a day, six days a week.

The facility has the capacity to process all animal remains and byproducts in Israel. The recycling (cooking) process at the plant produces two main products: meat meal for fertilization, which is sold in the East, and fat for the biodiesel industry, which is sold in Europe. This process eliminates the need for landfilling and the disposal of animal byproducts in public areas.

The company operates a fleet of trucks serving the livestock industry and industrial plants across the country for waste collection. Its primary clients include the Dairy Council, the Kanat insurance company, local councils, food (meat) factories, and the largest slaughterhouses in Israel.

Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Standards

A.E. Bioecology Ltd. operates in full compliance with strict environmental standards and has held an emissions permit since December 2014.
The company is licensed to collect, process, and recycle animal by-products, and operates under the supervision of a veterinarian appointed by the Veterinary Services of the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture.
